Barney Norris – President of Studio Theatre

Sadly, Christopher Biggins, who has been the President of Studio Theatre for the last few years, has had to step down, owing to ill health. We are very sad about this and are immensely grateful for his input, support and encouragement during his visits to Salisbury and the Theatre.  We wish him all good health in the future.

The good news is that Barney Norris, who has been our Patron and arch supporter for many years has agreed to become our President. Barney is a Salisbury stalwart, was schooled here, was a young Algernon in Studio’s production of The Importance of being Earnest, and is well-known as an author, playwright, director, awards-winner, and also stood as a Green Party candidate in the City last year.

We are thrilled he will be our President and look forward for more projects with him at Studio.
